Seminars and workshops
Effective Delegation: (between 45-90 minutes)
Most leaders are terrible delegators. They fall into two extremes. Their strategy is to either a) micro-manage, or b) fire-and-forget. They are surprised later than their employees fail to hit the target. This seminar teaches practical delegation techniques to help your employees get it done right, on time, and on budget.
Effective Delegation Full day intensive. This seminar uses video-taped simulations of audience participants to demonstrate how to do delegation, and more importantly, how not to do it. Each participant gets the opportunity to practice across from an actor and then together we analyze the recording to learn how to improve. (12 participant maximum)
Courageous Feedback: (between 45-90 minutes)
Incremental growth relies on candid feedback. Otherwise, we do not know how we are doing or how to improve. However, most people do not get the right kind of feedback from their supervisors. This seminar teaches how to give feedback so employees get the point without emotionally exploding.
Courageous Feedback Full Day Intensive: This seminar uses video-taped simulations of audience participants to demonstrate how to give effective feedback, and more importantly, how not to do it. Three specific forms of feedback are explored. It also includes personal psychometric testing for each individual to discover what their default conflict style is, and how that shows up in an emotionally charged moment. Each participant gets the opportunity to practice across from an actor and then together we analyze the recording to learn how to improve. (12 participant maximum)
